My First Blog (by Nicole)

Sincerely troubling, is the fact that thousands, nay millions of people spend hours considering facts that they might share with their fellow friends and coworkers. Not that these facts really concern them, or matter in any specific way. It's really rather outrageous to think that the general public might have the time to skim through thousands of blogs.

Why don't people ponder other matters. Such as the sky. Why isn't it depressing looking into a void of space, unable to truly understand what masses are so far beyond our reach. The stars just look like spots of glowing dust, and who's to say they matter more than glowing dust. Should we focus on the dust we see every day, perhaps there is more to that then what we give credit. I guess it's the fact that they are so far beyond our reach, and dust is not only completely within our reach, but is terribly and annoyingly EVERYWHERE we reach. Thank goodness for swiffer dusters, sweepers, and every other product that fools us into thinking we've diminished the total amount of dust floating around our little spot on this earth.

Furthermore, the grass. Why shouldn't we look closer at the grass and think about how marvelous that it is green. Green is such a wonderfully rewarding colour. Just think of the hours and huge amount of income spent on ensuring our lawn remains that marvelous emerald colour. Some men, though I don't know if they would admit it, have spent their life spot watering the lawn, carefully sprinkling seeds in the brown spots and raking their fingers through the freshly cut sections admiring something that they were able to create or at least maintain. Personally, I think it would be better to spend effort on hair or ensuring there isn't any hair portruding from their nostrals.

Finally, though I feel this subject hasn't really been given enough to compare with, I will state the rather obvious fact that if you have read to this point, you too have fallen into the BLOG disease: where you can't help but read something that really couldn't matter less. Erika is no doubt a better blogger than me!!!!

LOVE YOU ERIKA!
